Yes, Tyent have different filter options for specific water contaminants should you need it. Their pre-filters effectively treat heavy metals like lead, mercury, nickel etc and also treat fluoride and arsenic by up to 95%

Hi Deborah

You are right, the latest 2022 Tyent models are more expensive but you can still get the older models at prices that start from $2500 (e.g. Tyent Edge 9000 is currently under $2,500).

However, Tyent offers more features than Kangen at every point. For instance, the highest number of plates you can get with Kangen is 8 but Tyent machines come with almost double at 13 – as standard. The number of plates determine the quality of the ionized water so more is better.
