I have a Econominder Ulta V whole house water purification system that uses rock salt or potassium pellet Regeneration tank. I moved it from my other house and have not hooked it up for some years. Can this be converted to produce Alkaline water? Being on a tight budget, I would like a Tyent System but the coming up with a $4K nut is not possible.

I find it confusing to hear that some dentists strongly encourage fluoride and tell not to rinse afterwards, and others fiercely believe the exact opposite, trust me, I have been to both over the years, including having hear the same being told to my children. Some countries put fluoride in their tap water, other have done so and taken it out again.
I find the same with titanium, some say it is very dangerous, and now I read this is the exact product that the plates are made of. What I am supposed to think, as we cannot all be scientists, and work this out for ourselves, without putting trust in others that genuinely want to help us lead better and healthier lives.
What are we to think??
What is your more specialised feedback?
We are researching currently into this alkaline water thing, as friends have bought a machine and are about to try a bag. Can this water be kept in glass, ceramic, metal and plastic bottles if the kids want to take it to school for the day for example?
Can it be carbonated?

I replied your previous comment 🙂 but the quality of the ionized water is determined by the quality and number of the plates so yes, a high number of better quality plates is worth more $$

It is hard to find any information about water toxicity/heavy metal test but it is illegal for a company to make false claims about being able to treat a specific toxin so I generally trust the claims that Tyent make.

Hi Catherine 1) No, I do not believe Kangen are the only water ionizers to be certified medical grade because I know Tyent ionizers also come with medical-grade plates. 2) Tyent's 4-stage chromium-6 filters remove 99% of lead, 99% of Chromium-6, 99% of mercury, beryllium, uranium, fluoride etc. I have this information from previous research into this brand but their website is not the most user-friendly to find this kind of specific information. Just checking to see if you received my questions regarding Kangen’s claim of being the only medical grade system on the market (how is this determined, is it worth the $) and if any water ionizer company has conducted a water toxicity/heavy metal test using their machine? Is that accessible? Beyond the benefits of a water ionization machine, I would like to also remove heavy metal toxins, chemicals from our water. Do either Tyent or Kangen (or any) water ionizer machine accomplish this? If this isn’t a viable source to ask questions, do you know where I can find this information out? Thank you. What’s the turn around time to hear back?

1) Can you please speak to Kangen having the only water ionizers in the world that are a certified Medical Grade Device. What is this claim based on? Is that worth the cost?
2) Is there a water ionizer machine that has specifically addressed (and can provide evidence) on removing toxins and heavy metals?
3) Kangen water is considered “micro-clustered water” (5-6 molecules). Do all water ionizing machines micro-cluster and to what molecular level?

I appreciate your help and apologize for redundant questions that you may have already posted. I’m overwhelmed with brands and information. We live in the city, so in addition to seeking the benefits of electronically reduced, hydrogen rich water, I want to remove the heavy metals and toxins from our water. Many thanks!

In reply to Taylor. I believe it can't be a pyramid scheme because they have an actual product. But I think they are pricey because the business opportunity side, where people can make enough money to quit their job, is a giant part of the idea behind the company.

Hello, thanks for your information; I’m actually in the midst of making a choice for a Tyent or Enagic machine, and I do appreciate all your knowledge; I do sense/feel too though your strong ‘preference’ for one brand over the other; tell me the companies you’re promoting are not paying you commission? I have NOT an issue with that at all, just figuring out the most honest/neutral review.

He’s right there isn’t a lot of studies on alkaline water but that’s not only what kangen water is. It’s electrolyzed reduced water which is backed my hundreds of studies on pubmed. The evidence is out there. Mr water geek is either not a water geek or trying to make sure people don’t buy kangen. Kangen is and always will be supreme and well worth the investment whether you join the business or not. Extremely good technology. The business side of kangen is not a pyramid scheme either. It’s a one of a kind business model. Pyramid scheme are illegal and kangen has been around for decades.

*Side not* If you have a kangen machine, then you don’t need reverse osmosis. Hooking a Kangen up to the tap water works wonders. In fact reverse osmosis water is very acidic and tends to pull nutrients from the body! Be careful!

This article does NOT link to products on Amazon? The audiobook offers yes, but the smaller companies I link to e.g. Tyent, WaterForLifeUSA, Berkey, AquaTru etc.. have NOTHING to do with Amazon and are NOT monopolies??

There is absolutely nothing wrong with earning a commission from the work you do I just take issue with the fact that at least 50% of the price tag is paid out in comissions and Enagic make their own profit on top of that.

Comparable machines with a similar tech specification only cost a couple hundred bucks.

If people are aware of this and still happy to pay this extortionate price when they could get much better value then I have no problem with this – so long as it’s an informed choice.

It’s not a pyramid scheme because there’s nothing scheming about it. Enagic’s business plan that comes with any of their machines has principals that are deeply rooted in physical health, financial health, and spiritual health. Kangen provides a buyer access to achieving all three of these 3 possibilities. The whole point is to assist others in achieving vitality, and possibly of living a better life by clearing out that brain fog that most of us experience sometimes! The possibilities are truly endless and I’ve gotten more benefits than what I paid for.

Hi Daniel

Yes you can use both systems.

It simply means the reverse osmosis system will filter your water first and then the ionizer machine will treat it again before turning it alkaline.

I don’t recommend Kangen, their machines are way over-priced for what is essentially outdated technology.

If you don’t like the Tyent offer mentioned in this article, then please seek other options. Almost anything is better than Kangen!
