Thanks for the question Marisa. You should nearly always filter water – a lot of these systems do the filtration for you, however, which is convenient.

Hello – You can use distilled water for alkaline water but would be hard to make much hydrogen with it. Making hydrogen through electrolysis requires water to have enough minerals in it to allow for an electric current to be conducted. Distilled water is pure water which makes electrolysis virtually impossible.

This hybrid machine for alkaline and hydrogen water sounds interesting. At the moment, we have a portable hydrogen water maker that holds 20 oz. My husband thinks that pushing the button more and more times will make it better. Can you tell me if a person can turn it on too many times, and if one push is enough? Thanks!

My son is on oxygen from time to time. not continuous. Is it safe to have hydrogen water in the same room as where he is receiving oxygen? Is there anything I need to be aware of while he is using oxygen?

In reply to Lam. Hi Lam Hmm interesting question. I would say no because mineral deposits in water are usually caused by water with high mineral content like hard water. Filtered "soft" alkaline water should technically be mineral free so should not create deposits. However, this is just an educated guess - let me know if you find out any different. Sorry Jeff – I don’t completely understand your question.

The picture of the 2 units of the Lourdes that you see are the exact same products but with different colors.

But the AlkaDrops Portable is a detachable water bottle.
