In reply to Linda Miller.

Hi Linda

I've checked Tyent's filtration report and it is certified to remove iron by up to 99.6%.

According to their site, it does NOT add any calcium to your water but may leave in trace elements that already appear in your source water (after using your softener & Tyent).

However, your water softener will remove all calcium in your source water so you should be left with zero calcium in your water.

Stay hydrated,
Luke

We had our well water tested. It is high in iron, calcium and salt. We do have a water softener unit.
Will a Tyent unit filter out salt and iron? I read the unit will add calcium. That wouldn’t be good for me as my calcium blood level in too high.
