Diana, This is a nuanced guestion as it deals with your location [U.S.], the suspected (or known) source of the Radium, the level / intensity of Radium at YOUR residence, OTHER methods-now or previously undertaken to reduce or eliminate the Radium, “Ultra” professional retesting at / of: source- if known, ‘pocketing’ if believed, actual measurements at EVERY faucet and outlet at your residence and ULTIMATELY, P.P.M, etc. determinations AT EACH WATER OUTLET YOU HAVE. With that said, I would strongly suggest a “whole house”- type filtration system AND a quality filter at EVERY outlet. You [may well] have an insurance (related) claim to assist in total cost of this endeavour- perhaps even a State, Local or other such Group already dealing with the issue. Certainly, The SOURCE [if known AND still fluid] should be approached here. RE: YOUR QUESTION; I’d use this multi-stage shower filter PLUS a FILTERED SHOWER HEAD and you’d potentially remove the threat as long as the 2 filter cartridges were replaced every 4 to 6 months depending on gallon-use estimates as well as manufacturers recommendations [typically sooner than later] which these days- sadly- IS BEST.
