Love our Aqua Rain water system. No cracking on the one we use all the time. I did buy one off ebay that had cracks at the top edge of the top half of the Aqua Rain. My cousin welded it for me. Will be great for camping. I have a lot of confidence in the high-quality ceramic filters. I filter our water thru a coffee filter first and then pour it into the Aqua Rain so I don't have a lot of dirty stuff in the Aqua Rain. I found the Aqua Rain people extreemly nice, helpful, sent me free replacement parts including the rubber ring the unit sits on. I highly recommend Aqua Rain. Great customer service. I told her I'd bought mine at a thrift store. She included a set of instructions on best way to use it and care for the ceramic filters.

I’ve had Two Aquarian filter system in 22 years. Both were very good until the top filter container developed cracks where the stainless steel was rolled at the top where the lid goes. The first one I had to throw away as I wasn’t able to get anything done about it from the company, in other words they didn’t want to help. But I liked their filter elements so I bought another system about 10 years ago. And I’ll be damned the same thing happened. I was able to get ahold of someone this time, and I got accused of using the handles on the top container to carry it to the sink to fill it which I never do, that shouldn’t make a bit of difference. After some arguing I was told that if I’d take pics and send them via e-mail that she would get the pics to the proper personal. I’m not holding my breath. I guess that I’ll try but I’m pretty sure that I’m screwed.
